About Carl Pregel Intern Scholarship Fund

Carl Pregel was full of life, deeply relational, and always ready to serve. He gave his time and heart to Mission Discovery through disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina, building projects in Westmoreland, and full summers in Reynosa, Mexico. Carl was hands-on in every sense—whether on the job site or serving meals in the kitchen alongside his wife, Pat. His energy was contagious, his presence unmistakable, and his love for people evident in all he did. This scholarship honors Carl’s legacy by supporting interns who lead with heart and serve with joy.
